My brother was a special needs guy.
He bowled and ran in the Special Olympics. He had a bookshelf full of trophies and medals and ribbons; he would call me excitedly and tell me about his "hot hands" at bowling. He was so proud of those awards. What I never saw were the dances the night before, these people seriously know how to party without self-consciousness or embarrassment. It's a wild, wild night.
